Breath 2: The Fall of the GraymaneEdit

Breath 2: The Fall of the Graymane is a sequel that originally belonged to the original Breath series, but was officially considered to be a sequel of the reboot later in 2014, created in Decemeber 5th, 2013, written by the author Jacket Mike.

It's a sequel to the reboot, and it continues Skyblack's story. Adding a new town and the appearance of a know character in the reboot.

SummaryEdit

Skyblack, suffering from severe depression, receives a letter in his new home two years after escaping Ponyville. The letter was written by no one but Redflower Purpleye herself, offering him a "new life".

Skyblack accepts and goes to where she was currently located, expecting to be a nice city. But, he finds a total shithole, with buildings fallen apart and poor, hungry, thirsty ponies everywhere.

Skyblack finds Redflower, that takes in home and promise him she will take care of him.

ReceptionEdit

The sequel was very well received by fans, who loved it.

Mike's own opinion is that "he enjoyed working on Skyblack's friendship with Redflower, after all he loves working on characters".

TriviaEdit

  • The title of the sequel might have been inspired by Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. Interestingly, the narration of the sequel is similar to the Max Payne games.
  • Skyblack's depression was inspired on Mike's depression when he wrote the sequel.
